What is it?

Until now, there were only two ways to produce custom mosaic tile blends and murals for your customer: by hand (20-50 minutes per square foot) or outsourcing to the factory (6-8 weeks). With the introduction of our new TileMyzer™, you can produce your own custom work in speeds up to 1 square foot every three minutes. The TileMyzer™ is available in tile sizes ranging from 10mm to 25mm.

The unique design of the Tilemyzer™ allows for up to 10 different tile colors to be used at one time when running production on the Tilemyzer™ G1 system. Utilizing a cartridge system, the Tilemyzer™ automatically selects the cartridge needed from the instructions provided by a PC attached to the system; pneumatically locks it to the placement head; and places each tile across the grid where indicated.

The Tilemyzer is driven by custom software we provide, which can also can create random blends, patterns, gradients from your custom color palette; or murals created in TileCreatorPro.

With the Tilemyzer™, a grid can be produced in as little as 3 minutes. As the tile size decreases or the number of tile cartridges used grows, the placement time lengthens. Even at it’s slowest speed, it’s still 5 times faster than hand labor, allowing for up to 240 square feet of tile produced in a 12-hour time period.

We use calibrated grids in 10mm, 15mm, 20mm and 25mm vitreous tile sizes; custom grid and tile types can be tuned through our Engineering department. The photos below show the Tilemyzer™ placing 20mm tiles in a random pattern.
